TheraJoy is made by a small, independent software studio in Pasadena, California.
TheraJoy brings EMDR bilateral stimulation to the iPhone — haptics, tones, and visuals that support the work people do with their therapists. Handheld tappers usually stay in the therapist's office; TheraJoy is there between sessions, when it's needed.
We're independent and self-funded. The app is paid so that it answers to the people who use it — no ads, no data selling, ever.
We build quiet software: tools that do one small thing well and get out of the way.
Every release, we look at what we can remove. Screens, settings, prompts. The best version of TheraJoy is one you think about less.
If a feature would make life worse for a working therapist, we don't ship it. Full stop. Every quarter we show roadmap to our clinical advisors and listen.
Gamification belongs in games. Calming tools should not make you feel worse for missing a day.
You pay a simple fee. We don't run ads, sell data, broker PHI, or train any third-party model on you.
